Who we are

Reroutify (“we”, “our”, “the app”) is a Shopify app that helps merchants manage URL redirects for their Online Store — exact Shopify 301 redirects and wildcard/pattern rules via a theme app embed.

Information we collect

When you install and use Reroutify, we may process:

• Shop information — shop domain and related Shopify identifiers needed to authenticate the app
• Authentication data — OAuth access tokens / session data required to call Shopify Admin APIs on your behalf
• Redirect configuration you create — source paths, targets, pattern rules, priorities, enablement flags, and related settings stored by the app
• Technical logs — basic server logs for reliability and debugging (may include shop domain and request metadata)

We do not intentionally collect or store Shopify customer personal data (such as customer name, email, phone, or order contents) to provide redirect features.

How we use information

We use this information only to:

• Authenticate your shop and keep the embedded app working
• Create, update, disable, and delete redirects via Shopify’s APIs and our pattern-rule store
• Sync pattern rules used by the theme app embed
• Respond to uninstall and privacy compliance requests
• Maintain security and troubleshoot issues

How we share information

We do not sell your data. We may share data only as needed with:

• Shopify — to operate the app inside Shopify Admin and create native URL redirects
• Hosting / infrastructure providers — that run our servers and database (currently Railway and PostgreSQL) under our instructions

Data retention and deletion

We retain shop session and redirect configuration for as long as the app is installed and needed to provide the service. After uninstall, Shopify may send a shop/redact request; we then delete shop-scoped app data (sessions, pattern rules, and related stored redirect configuration).

We also respond to Shopify’s mandatory compliance webhooks (customers/data_request, customers/redact, shop/redact). Because we do not store customer personal data for redirects, customer data requests typically result in confirmation that no customer personal data is held.

Your rights and requests

Merchants can request access to or deletion of data associated with their shop by contacting us at support.reroutify@gmail.com.

Security

We use industry-standard measures appropriate to a Shopify app (HTTPS, authenticated Admin API access, webhook verification). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Children’s privacy

Reroutify is intended for Shopify merchants and is not directed to children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
